MTEDI - MINAGIE Technician Empowerment & Deployment Initiative
Vision Statement: To build a nationwide network of certified, community-rooted technicians who install, maintain, and champion MINAGIE Energy systems; creating dignified jobs, ensuring system uptime, and accelerating Ghana’s clean energy transition.
Program Components
- 1. Recruitment & Selection
MINAGIE Energy works with community leaders and training centers to find motivated candidates. Focus on rural youth, informal artisans, and women in STEM. Selection uses short tests and local recommendations.
- 2. Training & Certification (8 Weeks)
Delivered through partner training centers with a curriculum built with CTVET. Includes field visits to active sites. Graduates earn the Certified MINAGIE Energy Technician badge.
- 3. Onboarding & Toolkits
Technicians receive branded gear, basic tools, a simple manual, and access to the mobile app. They join the MINAGIE Energy technician network and are placed with a hub or mobile team.
- 4. Employment Pathways

- Impact Metrics: Jobs created, system uptime, community satisfaction, gender inclusion.
