Adeiso Health Centre, located in the Upper West Akim District, supports more than 60 villages and welcomes up to 100 people each day. The centre spent years working through power cuts, water issues, and limited space, with expansion slowed by rocky ground.
The community’s interest in sustainable solutions grew stronger, especially after new energy improvements. With the Fusion Wind Turbine system in place, the centre now enjoys steady electricity that protects vaccines, reduces fuel use, and keeps care going during grid failures.
Minagie Energy paired the upgrade with training for all staff on energy‑saving habits and how the system strengthens healthcare and climate resilience. Four workers also received technical training to operate and troubleshoot the system. As Officer in Charge Wise Kudzi noted,
“Now we rarely buy fuel. There’s no fumes or noise… it has given us improved healthcare.”
